Of course, common dating tips can assist anybody that reads them but for special tips that aid a specific gender or inclination, they can be little and far between. If you're seeking dating tips for a girl, look no more your search has ended!

The initial issue you must know while seeking dating tips as a girl is to pick and decide carefully. Since each person is unique, not every tip will succeed for everybody. So be certain that you use the tips that you're Happy with, don't forget to be sincere to who you really are, and you're guaranteed to be victorious!

Tip #1

Dating tips for girls will as a rule include dressing sexy and basically "putting yourself on show there". You won't stumble on these tips in this message. The initial tip to be shared with you is to be yourself! Lots of women believe that they can't be themselves whilst they initially come together with a man for one rationale or another.

The bottom line is, if he doesn't like who you are, the association isn't going to develop very far, as sooner or later your real colours will shine through, So be yourself and Remain confident. You'll come across heaps of men that love your personality and the kind of person you are.

Tip #2

One more splendid dating tip for girls is to make sure you don't air your grubby linen on the first date. Let's be realistic, we all contain things in our lives that aren't as a rule desirable to the opposite gender.

Now, this isn't to say that you must keep this stuff hidden as long as possible, but you undoubtedly must not reveal all the gory details the instant you guys hook up. Offer him an opportunity to get to know you, first.

A gate will unlock after a few dates which will, provide the opportunity to commence feeding information he must know, that could affect him in the long run. By the time these conversations arise, you'll already be in a friendship and it will be Simpler for him to understand the things you're revealing without being scared off.

Tip #3

Lastly, an essential dating tip for girls is to not appear desperate! This doesn't mean that you're falling all over the men that you come across or letting them know how much you require or desire a date, this relates to avoiding doing things like, waiting by the phone for his call and paying for the date merely because he requests.

These tiny things which you may well consider as being kind on account of liking him, may lead him to believe you're willing to do whatever it takes to make him happy and to snag him for yourself. Which can produce two possible outcomes; he'll feel uneasy and suffocated and dump you quick, or he'll decide to string you along and milk you for all he can neither of which is particularly pleasant.

And there you have it 3 tips for you girls to get the most out of your dating experiences.

I sincerely hope you have enjoyed these dating tips for girls.

a previously unannounced cash prizea list of grand prize winners that has changed dramatically since the Contest Rankings were frozen

It’s true.

To build some suspense towards the winners’ announcement, the Contest Rankings page hasn’t been updated since September 17th. In other words, no one has any idea of what’s happened during the last week of the contest.

http://www.articlesbase.com/-A Potential Cure for leukemia and autoimmune disorders

Patients with leukemia cancer white blood cells and people with autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis white blood cells that hypersensitive and attacks of healthy cells. since they both white blood cells have in common, we have a lot of the same treatment to cure diseases.

The solution is to replace faulty white blood cells by healthy. This means that killing the bad cells first with medications that specifically aimed at killing white blood cells and causes no significant damage to other cells in the body.

However, without an immune system our body would quickly become host to a variety of harmful organisms. So we need to provide the patient with a sterile/germ free environment and possibly antibiotics during treatment, because they would be temporary without a fully functioning immune system.

After the failed white blood cells death or significantly less in number. The next step is to inject the bone marrow stem cells that were made of the patient. This is achieved by taking healthy adult cells from another part of the body of the patient and then running a tissue sample in stem cells using the most recent breakthrough in stem cell research. The stem cells differentiate than in healthy bone marrow, which produces healthy white blood cells. stem cells can also directly in the white blood cells that contain chemicals to activate the differentiation process be differentiated. the patient would be subject to periodic injections of healthy white blood cells grown in the laboratory.

So there it is, a potential cure for leukemia, rheumatoid arthritis, and a host of other annoying auto-immune diseases.

How to decide what size your personal avatar image should be on your favorite social networks.

In my 2009 Personal Avatar Size Reference Guide, I gave some rules to keep in mind when choosing an image size for your avatar. This year I’m going to keep things even simpler.

Since most of the popular social networks here below only use square images – cropping rectangular images when necessary – and they all show your image at various sizes, there are only really 2 ways of going about this:

Submit a good quality, large image that still looks good even when reduced in size, or…Select an image according to which size is most likely to be seen for a given social network

I recommend the first strategy. It’s just easier to apply because all you need to remember is to reuse the same single, good quality, large image of at least 180 x 180 pixels whenever you’re asked to submit a profile picture for any of the social networks listed.

Use this first strategy with one condition; for the social networks where you spend most of your social networking time (like I currently do with Twitter), use an image tailored to that site’s guidelines and/or restrictions, which is where my recommendations come from.

Some of the recommendations haven’t changed since 2009, some have, and I’ve also included newly-popular networks in the list.

Facebook logoFacebook’s profile page lets you display up to a rectangular image 180 pixels wide x 540 pixels tall while showing avatars of 50×50 pixels elsewhere.
Recommendation: 180 × 540 pixels. If you’re not happy with how Facebook crops your image in making the 50 x 50 avatar, use a 180 x 180 pixel image for your profile.LinkedIn logoLinkedIn’s sidebar images measure 40 × 40 pixels and profile page images can be 80×80 pixels.
Recommendation: 80 × 80 pixelsTwitter logoTwitter profile pages display images at 73 × 73 pixels while showing avatars at 48 × 48, 31 × 31 and 24 × 24 pixels elsewhere.
Recommendation: 48 × 48 pixels if you put a larger image as part of your Twitter background, otherwise 73 × 73 pixels.Google logoAlthough Google’s Gmail (96 × 96 pixels) and Friend Connect (both 82 × 82 and 40 × 40 pixels) use different images, the image sizes aren’t too different.
Recommendation: 96×96 pixelsfoursquare logoFoursquare is “a mobile application that makes cities easier to use and more interesting to explore” or, a social network related to places & brands. Lets you display a square images showing avatars of 40 x 40, 30 x 30 and 110 x 110 pixels on your profile page which is limited to “200 KB or smaller (jpg, gif, or png format)”.
Recommendation: 110 x 110 pixelsgowalla logoGowalla is a location-based mobile social network that inspires people to share their favorite places with friends around the world. They call their avatars “icons” and say “Should be square, preferably 100 x 100 pixels, and in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format.” Elsewhere on the site, your image will be displayed at 30 x 30 pixels.
Recommendation: 100 x 100 pixels

digg logo

Digg v4, released in August 2010, emphasizes 2 image sizes: the profile page can display an image up to 140×140 pixels, while the rest of the site shows mostly shrunken versions at 24×24 pixels. Images can be no larger than 5 MB.
Recommendation: use an image of 140×140 pixels that is still clear & recognizable at 24×24. Otherwise, upload a better 24×24 pixel image since that will be seen much more often.yahoo logoYahoo! Pulse is Yahoo’s Facebook-like site. The Profile page has your square image at 128 x 128 pixels, but the most-used size is the reduced 32 x 32 that appears near comments.
Recommendation: 128 x 128 pixels

Skype logo

Like Facebook, Skype is one place where rectangular images can be used, but that doesn’t mean you should. Both 96×96 pixel and 48×48 pixel images are used on Skype.
Recommendation: prioritize the chat window by submitting an image of 96×96 pixels.NingThings have changed since Ning became a paid website… Ning will take your GIF, JPG or PNG file and display it at 115 x 115 on your profile page, and elsewhere at 40 x 40. Limit of 10 MB.
Recommendation: 115 x 115 pixelsFriendfeed logoFriendFeed is like Google in that the different avatar sizes used aren’t too different at 75 × 75, 50 × 50 and 25 × 25 pixels.
Recommendation: 75 × 75 pixels

Gravatar logo

Gravatars are universally-used for blog comments, like here below. Although the Gravatar website will preview your avatar for you at 192 × 192 and 80 × 80 pixels, webmasters can choose a size that fits their design and that is usually something smaller, closer to 50 × 50 pixels.
Recommendation: 50 × 50 pixels.MyBlogLog logoAlso used here on Personal Branding Blog, MyBlogLog is a great way to see who is visiting a site. Files must be in JPG or PNG format, 5MB or under but will be reduced for the avatars to appear at 96 × 96 pixels, 48 × 48 pixels and even 24 × 24 pixels on some sites.
Recommendation: 48×48 pixelsBlogCatalog logoBlogCatalog is like MyBlogLog and almost as useful. Making things simple, there’s only one possible size here for your GIF or JPG avatar image.
Recommendation: 50 × 50 pixels.MySpace logoMyspace allows up to 158 × 158 pixels for an image on the profile page, and uses 28 × 28 pixel icons everywhere else.
Recommendation: 158 × 158 pixels

StumbleUpon logo

StumbleUpon lets you use a large 185 × 185 image on your profile page but will settle for any size you submit, while using avatars of 48 × 48 pixels everywhere else.
Recommendation: 48 × 48 pixels.Xanga logoA blogging social network. Add an image to your site that is 170 x 170 pixels or smaller to achieve the best results. Larger images may be compressed automatically, resulting in image distortion. Unfortunately, many users have had trouble in 2010 adding profile pictures and Xanga hasn’t been too responsive in their own forums. Comments avatars can be a maximum of 60 x 90 pixels.
Recommendation: 170 x 170 pixelsorkut logoGoogle’s social network also announced some changes in summer 2010 with a recommendation to use square profile images. Orkut profile pages display images at 96 × 96, 66 x 66 pixels, 60 x 80 (in the Communities) and 35 x 35 for the friend avatar.
Recommendation: 96 × 96 pixelsFriendster logoFriendster was considered the top online social networking service until around April 2004, when it was overtaken by MySpace. Photos must be no larger than 2 MB. Profile images are square, and appear across the site in sizes of 35 x 35, 40 x 40, 130 x 130 and 200 x 200 on your Profile page.
Recommendation: 200 x 200 pixelshi5 logohi5 is a social gaming network, open to people 13 and older. You can’t upload photos that are more than 2 MB. It lets you display square images showing avatars of 100 x 100 pixels, 75 x 75 and 50 x 50.
Recommendation: 100 x 100 pixels

Still the easiest tool to create & resize your avatar image online.

From my 2009 guide: “With mypictr, upload a large avatar image and choose the destined website or social network. mypictr then suggests the default avatar size for the chosen website and lets you zoom and crop your uploaded image until you have a match. Once you click ‘pictrit’, you can download your image or email it to someone else.”

It is strange that our schools and colleges teach us ad nauseam about things that have no relevance to our lives, but provide no instruction about life events- for example marriage, dealing with teenagers, our spouses, our in-laws, obnoxious neighbors and so on. Thus it is no surprise that while tipping is an integral part of our lives, we are not given any formal training in this gastronomically related activity. You would think that courses like Tipping 101, 201 etc, would be pre-requisites to all college degrees. Far from it, my research failed to turn up a single course in this ancient art. I really need such a course, because tipping is confusing; I cannot understand who to tip and how much to tip. Forget my embarrassment; tipping is even affecting the political future of New York State.

Let me share with you some thoughts about tipping; including a little bit of knowledge and a lot of confusion.

The word TIP is an acronym for "TO INSURE PROMPTNESS". It started in England around 1755. We gained independence from the British, we drive on the right side of the road instead of the left and we have modified our knife/ fork usage for dining. However, tipping has remained with us.

You know what's ironic? If tipping is meant to ensure quick service we should be tipping in fast food places like McDonald's and Burger King, where we are served within two minutes. Instead we give tips in snooty restaurants where we wait the better part of an hour to get our food. (Why do we call the servers "waiters", when we do all the waiting?)

Who should we tip? We tip waiters, coat attendants, valets, porters, delivery men. We also tip taxi drivers. This is all very confusing. Should I tip everyone that helps me? Should I tip my wife after dinner? Should I tip my office subordinates when they complete an assignment on time?

At barbershops, hairdressers etc, we are expected to tip workers but not the owner. How is one supposed to know? They all dress alike. Perhaps they should wear dog tags saying "tip" or "do not tip". My suggestion: As you are leaving tell him or her "You own a great business here". Then just leave without tipping anyone.

I searched the Internet to learn more about tipping. All I found were 3 sites about cow-tipping. What is this cow-tipping? It seems to me that American farmers are tipping their cows and if so, what for? I don't know, but if it makes the cows happy and results in tastier milk with less cholesterol and more protein, I am all for it.

Last year, I took a flight to North Carolina. It was a dark and stormy night with heavy rain. Even so, the pilot made a perfect text book landing. I was impressed and after the plane landed, I tried to get into the cockpit and tip the pilot but the attendants would not let me in. I still think one of them was crazy. Placing her index finger on her temple, she rotated her hand in a corkscrew motion and glanced at her companion. This was most unsettling; if there were any loose screws on the airplane, she should have reported it to the maintenance crew. Anyway, I decided not to upset this (obviously deranged) lady and gave up on trying to tip the pilot.

Quite the opposite happened recently, when I endured a cab ride in Manhattan. The driver was a borderline lunatic; it was a terrifying experience, and we had 3 near accidents in a 10 minute ride. Even so, my companion insisted that I tip the driver. I found this very strange. When a pilot flew 500 miles and landed me safely under difficult conditions, I was not allowed to tip him, but when a cab driver almost got me killed thrice in 10 minutes, I was expected to give a gratuity.

How much should we tip? I had heard that we should tip either 15% of the bill or tip two times the sales tax. I adopted the second rule, i.e. twice the sales tax. This worked fine for me in New York. My next job assignment was in North Carolina. It worked well again. In Texas, however, the waiters gave me dirty looks, even though I followed the same rule. Is it my fault that they have zero sales tax over there?

Enough of my personal troubles. Even the politics of New York is being affected by tipping. A few years ago Hillary Clinton was in the news. In the course of her senatorial campaign she stopped at an upstate restaurant. As a courtesy, the owner waived the bill and said that it was on the house. Hillary did not leave any tip. Newspaper reporters pounced on this story. The WANTIP, "Waiters Against Non Tippers" declared her persona non grata and adopted a resolution that their members would neither serve her nor vote for her. However I feel that she had some justification. After all 15% of nothing is zero, zilch, nada. Double the sales tax (when there is no bill) is also zero. So she was mathematically correct, while being politically incorrect.

Mayor Giuliani, Hillary's opponent, was in a similar situation but very prudently, left a large tip. He won the endorsement of the WANTIP association for the upcoming election. While he was politically correct, he was mathematically off base. Then I faced a dilemma. Should I vote for the former first lady who was mathematically astute but politically incorrect, but OR should I "tip" my hand towards Mr. Giuliani, politically correct but mathematically a dunce? I was totally confused. Fortunately for me, Mr. Giuliani withdrew his candidacy and I was saved from having to make a tough decision.

Even Winston Churchill, that bulldog of bulldogs, was tripped up by tipping. One day, when he had to go for a meeting and his car would not start, he hailed a cab. The cabby did not recognize him. At the destination, as Churchill paid the fare, he requested the cab driver to wait for him. However, the cabby refused saying "Sir, I have to go home and listen to Churchill's speech on the radio. I cannot wait". Churchill was so flattered that he gave the man a 10 pound tip. Now the cab driver was overjoyed and said "Sir, you are a fine gentleman. To hell with Churchill, I'll wait for you."

So you see that this problem of tipping is confusing not only to me but also to experienced politicians and statesmen, while impacting the political future of New York State. I am desperately looking to enroll in a Tipping 101 course. If you find such a course offered somewhere, please "tip" me off. Needless to say, you will receive a generous tip, even if your state has no sales tax.

(Reader note: some varieties of cows sleep in a standing position. Occasionally a prankster would sneak up to the side of a sleeping-while-standing cow and try to tip it over, hence the term "cow tipping".)

Sometimes, the right career change can happen without completely changing careers.

astronaut job

This a guest post by Shoshanna Jaskoll. If you’d also like to guest post here on JobMob, follow these guest post guidelines.

Back in college, If you had asked me to rank possible careers for myself, my current one would not have even been on the list. I would have started with Astronaut, continued with Minister of the Environment, and possibly ended with Avocado Picker.

Being 5’1? knocked me out of Astronaut contention- (Also, I stink at math, but officially I blame the height thing). Minister of the Environment could have happened, maybe, after many, many years of grunt work, excellent ulpan and working my tuchus off to meet the right people.

In the end, I did meet the right person- and I married him- thus changing the trajectory of my life for the better.

Long story short, after our first Aliya and subsequent 6-year move back to the States, I found myself working for various non-profits in the Jewish world in various capacities. During that time, I continued freelance writing which I’d always done.

When we decided to move back to Israel, I needed a job. My resume was a conglomerate of positions; educator, writer, editor, intern at a few prestigious organizations, and a degree from Rutgers with some graduate courses thrown in. I had no idea what NBN (Nefesh b’Nefesh) might come up with for me.

When I got the call that I was being asked to interview for a non-profit organization as the Resource Development Coordinator, I was worried. Fundraising? NOT something I ever wanted to do, I hate asking people for money… but I really wanted to move to Israel and if I could sweep the streets, maybe I could do this. My sister conveniently had a baby, and I went to visit, fitting in the interview at the same time.

The interview was with the Chief Exec as well as the headhunter he had hired. I answered questions about myself and my abilities honestly. I could write, I was passionate about Israel and Judaism. I had compassion for those in need and I was comfortable meeting and speaking with people. Also, my Hebrew was passable.

Within 30 minutes of finishing the interview, they offered me the job and some training to ease my way in.

Now, there were things I needed to learn, and discomforts that I needed to get over, but I found that I could do it. My main discomfort- asking people for money – was ameliorated by the fact that it was mostly in writing and by remembering that I wasn’t asking for me, but for those who really needed it. I grew into the field quickly, coming up with ideas and solutions to previously cumbersome tasks.

This job, which I never would have considered applying for in other circumstances, launched a new career for me. After a year with the original org, I moved on to work under a professional with decades of experience (the original headhunter!). I also read – a LOT – about the field.

Eventually, I wanted needed different work hours, and to work in my own style. I began a partnership with 2 other professionals whose strengths complemented mine (and who also happen to be my sisters). Together, we offer non-profits many of the services it takes to run a successful non-profit; from board building, to media placement, from website content to grant writing.  We now have a great client base and work with some of the best non-profits in Israel.

I must thank David Maeir Epstein- Resource Development for Non-Profits (and NBN) for seeing what I could not, hiring me for that first job and then later for another, and training me with patience and professionalism.

If I hadn’t been ready to try something new, consider my skills in a new light and trust in myself and others, I would not have the career I do today. Working for myself allows me to make my own hours and choose my clients- extremely important for a mother.

I still look at photos from outer space wistfully, and I am still determined to fix Israel’s environment. But, I now see that making a difference – a real difference – is so much easier when working with people and organizations with the passion and drive to do so. It is also very rewarding.

Not having a job is an excellent time to consider possibilities you’ve never thought of before.

Don’t box yourself in. You are not defined by your degree, a certain skill set, or even what you think you are good at. Don’t make assumptions. Explore different options and take chances!

You very well might end up doing what you’d never thought you would- and loving it!
